Para Mi Mami
Este cuadro representa el amor y recuerdos que mi Mamá me dió Siento una gran admiración por ella. Hoy se cumplen 9 meses sin ella.
Sueño con ella muy seguido y se que me contesta muchas preguntas y me reconforta. Me pregunto ella cómo nos vera y qué pensará de nosotros desde el cielo.
Gracias a todos por las palabras de aliento y comprensión. Especialmente a ti mi amor, John. Por ese hermoso abrazo que me diste esta mañana. Significa mucho para mi y las palabras no fueron necesarias.
En este cuadro use objetos que eran especial para mi Mamá y para mi.
Crecer con ella fue un placer en mi vida y estoy agradecida por eso.

To My Mom
This painting represents the love, admiration, and memories I have of my mother. Today is 9 months without her.
I have dreams of her very often and I know she answers many questions and comforts me from heaven. I wonder how she sees us and thinks of what we are doing?
Thank you for all the words of comfort and understanding from all the people around me. Especially to you John, my love, and for that nice hug you gave me this morning. It means so much to me that words were not required.
In this painting I used objects that are special between me and my Mom. Growing up having her was a pleasure in my life and I feel thankful for that.

A Nice Walk

This painting is titled A Nice Walk, because I had the fortune of having my Mom for one her visits and we went to a place named Old Town Spring that is full of character and extraordinary old big trees. And I particularly remember that she held my arm to walked under this beautiful tree.

Este cuadro lo titulé Un Agradable Paseo, porque tuve la fortuna de tener a mi Mamá de visita y fuimos a un lugar llamado old Town Spring, que tiene un encanto y está lleno de árboles maduros muy altos. Y me acuerdo que caminamos bajo éste extraordinario árbol y ella tomó mi brazo.

Pink Hibiscus

This flower is special for me in many ways. Is a hibiscus flower that my Father-in-law gave us. I took a picture of it in my backyard and my Mother started the painting and I finished it because she had to return to México.
And now this flower will be in our Daughter's bedroom.

Esta flor es muy especial para mi. Mi suegro nos regaló esta flor de jamaica, le tomé una foto y mi Mamá empezó el cuadro, no lo pudo terminar porque tenía que regresar a México.
Y ahora éste cuadro estará en el cuarto de nuestra hija.
